"A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) has been signed between International Rice Reseach Institute (IRRI) and the Barwale Foundation (BF) on January 29, 2009 to extend their existing MOA for the next five years with the agreement to work in collaboration for rice research and for the capacity building of the human resource.  Dr. Achim Dobermann, Deputy Director General - Research, IRRI and Dr. Usha B. Zehr, Director, BF signed the MOA in the presence of Drs. Fangming Xia, Parminder Virk, Serge Savary and Finbarr Horgan, Senior Scientists from IRRI and Mr. Dinesh Joshi, Drs. H.E. Shashidhar and Govinda Raj from the Barwale Foundation at our Hyderabad office".
